Today Italian manufacturer Ducati has launched Panigale V2 in India at Rs. 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ducati Panigale V2 engine will be powered by a 955cc, L-twin cylinder engine that produces 153 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm @ 9,000 rpm but has been upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. This bike is first BS6 launch of the year for the Italian manufacture. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
Ducati Panigale V2 borrows several design cues from Panigale V4 including the 17-inch with 5-spoke alloy wheel, twin large air intakes, muscular fuel tank, step-up style split seat, a tall windscreen, twin LED headlight with LED DRLs.
Other features also are added in the bike- Race, Sport and Street. These can be adjusted via the 4.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The bike also gets Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO 2 and a Sachs steering damper as standard. The bike also gets Cornering ABS EVO, traction control, wheelie control, Engine Brake Control EVO and auto tyre calibration and also is equipped with twin 320 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 245 mm disc at the rear.
